The Braun IRT 6525 thermometer is used to measure temperature in the ear. It is ideal for medical use at home and in the workplace. Its lightweight and ergonomic design combines high measurement accuracy with ease of use. It is suitable for measuring the temperature of both children and adults. The pre-warmed tip of the thermometer eliminates measurement errors. The ExacTemp system allows for precise positioning of the thermometer with visual and audible signals and delivers the results within seconds on a clearly visible display. Night mode activates the light for easy visibility in the dark and silences the measurement sounds so as not to disturb anyone.

The age precision feature adjusts the measurement to the person’s age, ensuring the most accurate readings. As a child grows older, the definition of fever changes; what’s considered a fever in a newborn might be a normal temperature in a four-year-old. Therefore, by setting the child’s age, the thermometer informs you immediately after the measurement whether the temperature is normal or if the child has a fever. You can select from three age ranges: up to three months, up to three years, and three years and older.
